About this vintage design furniture
We offer you this very rare piece of furniture, made from elements designed by the famous Joe Colombo in 1970 as part of his ingenious "Modular Square Plastic System" exhibited at New-York's MoMA in 1972 during the "Italy: the new domestic landscape" show.
This piece of furniture can be used as a chest of drawers, an occasional bar on castors, a hi-fi unit... and can be modulated to suit your needs: the openings can be placed - independently of each other - upwards, facing you, or to the rear (see the bottom... but not very useful 😅) and the modules placed differently (2 compartments on one side, the 4 drawers on the other, for example, it's up to you to play tetris!).
Slight traces of wear, but very good overall condition.
Each module measures approx. 42cm x 42cm x 19cm.
