Charlotte Perriand

Charlotte Perriand gave a new vision to furniture by deleting all the elements which appeared superfluous to her. Her various collaborations with Le Corbusier and Jeanneret are nowadays legendary pieces. We think for example of the "Maison du Mexique" bookcase (1952), the "Cansado" sideboard (1958) or the Meribel chairs (the 1950s).

Biography

Charlotte Perriand was born in 1903 in France. Quickly, she decided to study the Decorative Arts at the UCAD School.
