About this vintage design furniture
Wardrobe with chrome elements from the Bauhaus period. It made in the former Czechoslovakia. Designed by Vichr and spol in the 1930s and made by Kovona company in the 1950´s.
This is a typical example of residential furniture from the Bauhaus period in Central Europe. Chrome is in very good condition. The cabinet is made of oak wood. It is in good condition without any damage. Only the clothes rod is slightly curved. The wardrobe is ready to use immediately.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
