Vintage teak and zebrano sideboard for Elliots Of Newbury, 1960

Magnificent teak and zebrano enfilade - Elliots Of Newbury - dating from the 60s. A fine example of the modernist design of the period, with its simple yet elegant lines. This model offers a wealth of storage possibilities with 2 asymmetrical sliding doors opening onto an adjustable interior shelf, its carved top edges, as well as its beautiful inlaid handles and handsome spindle feet. In the center, 3 spacious drawers with their sublime curved teak handles. The first has wooden dividers and gray felt. Note that the drawers are slightly recessed into the cabinet, creating an offset between the doors and the drawers. The choice of materials and the final assembly of the cabinet give it cachet and a distinctive, unique character.
