About this vintage design furniture

Now known as the 1 Fauteuil Dossier Basculant, the LC1 chair was originally introduced at the Salon d’Automne in 1929 by the designers Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Since then the LC1 chair has become one of the most iconic furniture designs of the 20th Century, with Cassina taking on production of the piece in 1965. Constructed from a lightweight tubular steel frame, a signature of the designers’ collections, the chair has been ergonomically designed using a system based on the measurements of the human body to ensure ultimate support and comfort. The chair has a compact silhouette, with a black leather sling style seat and tilting backrest, with armrests in matching leather. A timeless classic, this LC1 chair looks as modern today as it did in 1929, making it the perfect addition to any contemporary living space. Reference : 289683
