About this vintage design furniture

A fantastic set of six "Orchestra" dining chairs, designed by Sven Markelius in Sweden circa 1930.These chairs were designed for the Helsingborg Concert Hall in Sweden. They have a very modern design with straight, clean shapes. They are also stackable, as shown in the photos, making them easy to store and move. A beautiful set with a unique story that will fit perfectly into any dining room decor. The set remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
