A fantastic set of six "Orchestra" dining chairs, designed by Sven Markelius in Sweden circa 1930.These chairs were designed for the Helsingborg Concert Hall in Sweden.They have a very modern design with straight, clean shapes. They are also stackable, as shown in the photos, making them easy to store and move. A beautiful set with a unique story that will fit perfectly into any dining room decor. The set remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Sven MARKELIUS
Sven Markelius was a Swedish architect and designer born in Stockholm on October 25, 1889, and died in the same city on February 24, 1972. He is considered one of the most influential figures of the modern movement in Sweden.
