Vintage mirror in murano glass and solid wood, Italy 1960
About this vintage design furniture
Giglio is a stunning vintage mirror finely crafted by expert hands in the heart of Murano in the early 1960s.Each piece has been beautifully handcrafted by Murano artisans. The frame is covered with precious silver leaf and is completely veiled by refined curls of clear Murano glass. The exquisite frame is decorated with 6 transparent roses. The back of the mirror is made of solid wood that has been cut to the shape of the mirror frame. A brass hook makes it easy to hang the mirror on your wall. It can also be used as a table mirror. The surface of the mirror has tiny signs of the past time. Each piece of precious glass is in perfect condition.Mirrors were invented by the Venetians in the 16th century, so what better way to celebrate history than with this exquisite antique Murano mirror?
