About this vintage design furniture

This unique, handcrafted coffee table is made from numerous solid pieces of wood. The old varnish was sanded of and it has been given a new coat of wax and polish. Never came across a piece like this before. It dates from around the late 60s, early 70s. The inside is hollow and has a plywood structure inside to support the weight of the table. The wall is about 10cm thick.
