About this vintage design furniture
Elda (named after the wife of Colombo) is the first armchair to use large surfaces of fiberglass reinforced plastic. The Elda chair is directly inspired by boat hulls. Self-supporting structure placed on a pivoting base with an overlay of upholstered cushions covered with orange leather. Its enveloping shape isolates acoustically.
