About this vintage design furniture
This huge and rare Doria ceiling luminaire from 1973 combines both our favourite Space Age lamp types: the Sputnik, and the globe lamp. Inside its 40cm mouth-blown shade, there are four chrome-plated bulb holders, plus just as many balls, reflecting the lights supplementally. Through the spotty air locks, the lamp casts a unique, irregularly scattered light, like full moon in a cloudy night.
