The designer: Philipp Plein (1978-) Philipp Plein is a Munich-born German fashion designer who specializes in luxury fashion and furniture. Philipp Plein studied law in 1998. He began working on interior furniture using stainless steel and crocodile skin. To avoid waste, he took advantage of leftover materials to create bags and accessories, which he began selling at the same time as his furniture.
