Vintage antique chest in black wood and metal

An antique solid wooden trunk with a hinged lid and two metal handles. It is in nice condition for its age and has been cleaned inside and out. Inside you can still see of the original wallpaper and a tray for organising smaller items. On the outside it has a waxed canvas covering presumably to help keep it dry when travelling by carriage. The chest could be used for many things such as blankets and clothes. Dating from the Victorian period. It still has the original lock and key..
