About this vintage design furniture

This Arcona leather set consists of a 2-seater sofa and two armchairs. The thick black leather is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. The back and seat cushions, as well as the leather coverings on the armrests, are attached with a zipper system and can be easily removed. The seating comfort is impeccable in both the 2-seater and the armchairs. Otto Zapf founded the company Vitsoe+Zapf in 1958 together with Niels Vitsoe and cooperated with Dieter Rams. In 1969, Otto Zapf left the joint company and designed the Arcona line for Art Collection in 1986. Otto Zapf worked as a designer for Knoll, Art collection, B&B Italia etc. Art Collection was founded in Aahlen in 1946 and in the Renamed Dreipunkt in the 1960s. From 1976, the furniture was again offered under the Art Collection with designs by first-class designers. Reference : 305428
