About this vintage design furniture
Exquisite large vase “Makora” glassware located in the city of Krosno, Poland. Made in an elegant Midcentury style in the 1970s. Blown and then folded glass, made by hand, in a black color that tends to have maroon reflections thanks to its own pigment. Piece with its own personality, true work of art.
The city of Krosno, in southeastern Poland, has historically been known for high-quality artisanal glass productions. The Makora company was founded in 1923, creating pieces that adhere to modern and futuristic design based on the concept of minimalism. Each individual piece is handcrafted by expert glassblowers, artists, and now higher tech. Makora places an original label on the vases as proof of authenticity.
