About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Mediterranean Design Rope Lounge Chair. Designed by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet for Vibo Vesoul. Made in France, 1930's / 40's period. Curved bentwood darker stained wooden frame with woven rope seat and back rest. This is a classic design made in the south of France for use at the mediterranean beach front, hence the woven rope which reflects the materials used by fishermen. Beautiful in form and shape with minimalistic design and use of materials makes this a classic. This comes in very good condition. The wooden frame has been refreshed with new staining and varnish. The rope is all original. This measures 72cm x 64cm x 70cm. Reference : 304913
