About this vintage design furniture

Italian pendant lamp “Garbo Q” designed by Japanese designer Mariyo Yagi and Studio Simongavina for Sirrah in 1976. Its special construction creates a very beautiful lighting effect. A white square enamelled ceiling plate with three lamps illuminating the inside of the thinly braided nylon fringe curtain. The cords are 270 cm long (can be shortened if necessary), easily removable, ‘washable’ and heat-resistant. This lamp is also included in the collection of the Tokyo National Modern Museum. The lamp contains three E27 fittings suitable for incandescent and LED bulbs. The condition is very good and original. Dimensions: h x w x d = 270 x 23 x 23 cm. The price is for the lamp only. Marked: “Sirrah imola, mod: Garbo Q, des. Mariyo Yagi Studio Simon, made in Italy” (see photo). Source: Book Dino Gavina, Jaca Book, page 150 (see photo) + lamps catalogue Domus. Reference : 301765
