About this vintage design furniture

The set of six chairs was made in the 1970s, designed by leading Danish designer Poul M. Volther. The structure is made of teak, the back is made of plywood veneered on the outer sides with teak veneer. Wood after refreshing. The chairs have undergone upholstery restoration, seat sponges and fabric replaced. The upholstery has been done in graphite, a high-quality fabric with a clear weave has been used. Condition: Fabric replaced with new, wooden structure preserved in good condition with normal signs of use. Minor scratches visible and marks. Larger signs of use are always shown in the photos. Poul Volther was a Danish designer born on February 23, 1923 in Faaborg, Denmark, and died on January 23, 2001 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is best known for his modern, functional furniture designs.
