Vintage armchairs in leather and pine wood, Sweden 1960

An amazing and unique lounge armchair in sling Spanish style tan saddle leather and pine wood. Beautifully made frame and wood grain with slight curves that accommodates the clever insertions for the saddle leather making it a sling. The sides lock the saddle leather in a loop with pine wood dowels giving a nice and pleasing touch. The saddle leather surface has a nice patina for its 70 years of use and it's overall in very good condition with the exception of some wear. The wood frame also has some wear with light scratches or varnish faint but again is something you would expect for its age. This lounge armchair is really comfortable and able to stand in many interiors. This is an extremely rare piece as we haven't managed to find the same again. This is not from Karin Mobring or Borge Mogensen but very similar. Currently the armchair is dismantled and flat pack and can be post internationally very easy. We have two available if you wish a pair. The chairs dismantle and we could possibly post them internationally in a box. PRICE IS FOR ONE ARMCHAIR.
