About this vintage design furniture
Wall coat rack “tone ladder” designed by Coen de Vries and manufactured by DEVO (Den Haag) in 1954; first version with a circular tube frame. Later Coen de Vries designed a version for Pilastro with a square tubular frame.

Coen de Vries was a Dutch industrial designer, born in 1918 and died in 2004. He studied at the Amsterdam School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including Gispen, Spectrum and Pilastro.
