Vintage "Muguet" floor lamp by René Mathieu for Lunel Paris, France 1950
France
£719.72
About this vintage design furniture
It can be found in the catalog of the famous 50s lighting manufacturer Lunel, Paris (located on Place de la Madeleine).
This magnificent, emblematic floor lamp features a round metal base and four painted steel arms (cream or off-white).
The lampshades are new and perfectly match the base, both in terms of size and color... in a very gentle way.
They have a beautiful patina. The ruby-colored translucent cones contrast beautifully with the varnished copper upper baskets. One of the cones is slightly missing at the top (not immediately visible).
This 70-year-old floor lamp has not aged a bit, and apart from a few signs of use, is in good condition and in perfect working order. A button on the floor activates the lighting.
In itself, it will add a lot of allure to your interior decoration.
