About this vintage design furniture
Expressive stock of so called ‘Bolide’ sconces designed by by Hermian Sneyders de Vogel for Raak Amsterdam Holland in 1968. Model number B-1095 and manufactured by Raak Amsterdam Holland.
The structure is made of white lacquered sheet metal segments, which create an organic, floral looking shape. Very good condition with normal wear due to use and age, labelled with the Brandname Raak. The lamp can be used for wall or ceiling with beautiful graphical lighting effect.

Herman SNEYDERS DE VOGEL
Herman Sneyders de Vogel (1899-1976) was a Belgian artist born in Antwerp. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and began his artistic career in the 1920s as an avant-garde painter.
