About this vintage design furniture
Stunning large Scandinavian glass wall light/sconce designed by Carl Fagerlund and made in collaboration between Swedish glasswork Orrefors and light manufacturer JSB in the 1960s. Transparent glass shades representing a leaf (matte frosted relief on the inside & shiny on the outside) on polished brass. Spreads the light beautifully (see pictures). The combination of modernism & floral makes this wall light a unique addition to a range of interiors such as Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, 70's Glamour, Traditional or Contemporary. High quality craftsmanship.
Cleaned, re-wired (hardwired) and ready to use (compatible in Europe, UK, US, etc.). Requires 3 standard E14 light bulbs, max 60 W each. LED compatible. Height: 32 cm; width: 32 cm; depth (from wall): 17 cm. Very good vintage condition. No chips, no cracks or other damages to the glass. Patina on the brass parts.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
