Vintage Cona coffee maker in metal and bakelite, Germany

Beautiful coffee maker with vacuum or cona siphon, size d made in west germany. An iconic piece of design for everyday use, allowing you to watch the process unfold before your very eyes. Very good condition, filter and wick visibly little used. It consists of a metal and bakelite base, with a hole to accommodate the upper part after use (see photos), a glass stove with its wick and stopper, a lower part in glass and bakelite handle that snaps into the base, and an upper part fitted with a tube and spring-loaded filter. As decorative as it is efficient, this is one of the coffeemakers rated by specialists as making the best coffee. It is currently being reissued and sold for around 230€.
