About this vintage design furniture
Elegant rustic ceramic and copper tablelamp pair by Bergboms AB Sweden for Bitossi Italy 1960s. Lovely designed shape with rough ceramic mid section and a copper covered round lamp base and lamp holder. Marked with makers mark underneath: Bergboms.
Measures: Height about: 41.5 cmH. (incl bulb socket) Lampfoot 15 cmD.
Please note the lampshade is not included.
Bergbom and Co AB was a Swedish lighting manufacturer established in 1940. The company’s founder, Efraim Ljung was the precursor to the iconic DUX furniture manufacturing company, for which we know Alf Svensson and Edward Wormley.

About the designer
BITOSSI
Aldo Londi Bitossi was an Italian designer born on May 21, 1911 in Montelupo Fiorentino and died on January 7, 2003 in Florence. He is best known for his work as artistic director at Bitossi Ceramiche, a family ceramics business in Montelupo Fiorentino.
