About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian mid-century modern glass ceiling light/pendant by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (Sweden, 1960s). Green glass outer hexagonal shade with a transparent textured crystal cylinder inside, which breaks the light and delivers a soft and warm light (see pictures). Polished brass fittings & details. High quality craftsmanship.
Re-wired & ready to use (compatible in all countries Europe, UK, US, etc.). Requires one E27 light bulb. LED compatible. Height (from ceiling): 75 cm; Ø (shade): 28 cm. The length of the cable can be adjusted. Very good vintage condition. Light scratches on the shade.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
