About this vintage design furniture
Elegant beige and forest green rare tablelamp pair by Bergboms AB Sweden for Bitossi Italy 1960s. Model B053. Lovely designed shape with birchbark wood design ceramic mid section and a forest green glaced ceramic upper and lower section. Marked with original label underneath: Bergboms. Please note the color looks a bit darker, see the underneath pictures for the real green color. Small greener peeling underneath.
Measures: Height about: 45 cmH. (incl bulb socket) Lampfoot 14 cmD.
Please note the lampshades are not included.
Bergbom and Co AB was a Swedish lighting manufacturer established in 1940. The company’s founder, Efraim Ljung was the precursor to the iconic DUX furniture manufacturing company, for which we know Alf Svensson and Edward Wormley.

About the designer
BITOSSI
Aldo Londi Bitossi was an Italian designer born on May 21, 1911 in Montelupo Fiorentino and died on January 7, 2003 in Florence. He is best known for his work as artistic director at Bitossi Ceramiche, a family ceramics business in Montelupo Fiorentino.
