About this vintage design furniture
Superb set of three mid-century modern Scandinavian glass luminaires by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (Sweden, 1960s). Includes one sconce and two wall lights. Thick transparent glass shades with a beautiful bubble pattern. Brass backplates. The minimal, geometric design casts a magnificent light (see photos). High-quality workmanship. Original labels intact.
Recessed - Ø: 41 cm; H: 12 cm. Requires six E14 bulbs, max 25W each. Compatible with LEDs.
Wall lights (rare "Venus" model) - height: 25.5 cm; width: 15 cm; depth (from wall): 12 cm. Requires 1 E14 bulb, max 40W. Compatible with LEDs.
Cleaned, rewired and ready for use (compatible in Europe, UK, etc.). Very good vintage condition, patina on brass parts.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
