About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century Scandinavian glass ceiling/pendant lamp by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (Sweden, 1960s). Outer shade in very clear green/grey glass with a transparent textured crystal cylinder inside, which breaks up the light and diffuses a soft, warm light (see photos). Brass fittings. High-quality workmanship.
Rewired and ready to use (compatible with all European countries, UK, etc.) Requires 1 E14 bulb. Compatible with LEDs. Height (from ceiling): 80 cm; Ø (shade): 16 cm. Cable length can be adjusted. Good vintage condition, slight traces of use on the glass.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
