About this vintage design furniture
Superb pair of poufs by Elizabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti, Koala model, with bentwood structure and solid patinated bronze base. Garouste and Bonetti began their collaboration and gained worldwide recognition following the interior design of the Parisian discotheque Le Palace in 1979, commissioned by Fabrice Eamer. This pouffe was designed by the duo in 1995, and published by BGH. Each patinated bronze leg is stamped B.G. They have been fully restored, and covered with a royal blue velvet fabric from Métaphores référence St Germain, which is an extremely soft and vribrant cotton velvet.
