About this vintage design furniture
SM05 wire chairs, designed by Cees Braakman and A. Dekker from Pastoe in 1950. Thanks to the chrome-plated steel, the chair has an elegant, minimalist feel. Good condition with a patina of wear due to time and age, see detail photos. Seat height: 43cm, felt cushions in mint condition.

Braakman & Dekker is the name of the Dutch design studio founded by designers Wim Rietveld and Friso Kramer. The studio was founded in 1953 and remained active until the late 1960s.
