Vintage Murano glass pendant lamp by Gae Aulenti for Vistosi, Italy

Exceptional and rare pendant designed by Gae Aulenti for Vistosi from the "Neverino" series. Hand-blown Murano glass shade in dark purple (almost black) with a green glass ring. When lit, the lamp becomes a translucent warm violet. A sublime masterpiece and a fine example of mid-twentieth-century Italian art, in excellent original condition. Reference : 290797
