About this vintage design furniture

Handmade low vase designed by Jozef Hospodka for Chribsk Sklarna in the mid-1960s. Hand-molded crystal glass, two-colored in the mass, blue (cobalt) at the top, transparent at the bottom. A vase with an interesting shape, a classic of Czechoslovak organic design. The item is in very good original condition, with slight traces of use. About the designer

Josef HOSPODKA

Josef Michal Hospodka was a Czech designer who was born in 1923 and died in 1989. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he began working as a teacher after graduating.
