Vintage Danish Kurul Armchair in Oak by Henning Kjaernulf for EG Kvalitetsmøbel, Denmark, 1960s.
This Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern Curule chair in solid Nordic oak model "Kurul" is designed by Danish architect Henning Kjærnulf with inspiration from the classic Roman Curule chair. A historic design with a Scandinavian twist, both cozy and comfortable, ready for many hours of "Hygge"
Suitable as a desk chair, dining room chair or as a stylish accent chair.
Original sticker with makers mark.
Very good condition with new upholstery in a dark beige fabric with shearling lambswool look. Cleaned and polish, ready for use.

About the designer
Henning KJAERNULF
Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
