About this vintage design furniture

The striking Scandinavian highboard by Henning Kjaernulf, designed for EG Møbler, comes from the 1970s. This highboard is predominantly crafted from solid oak, featuring a traditional Danish white soap finish, and adorned with magnificent brass fittings. It showcases two lockable cabinets with inner shelves, along with two spacious drawers at the bottom. Notably, this particular piece does not include inside drawers, which are commonly found in similar models. A captivating sculptural front pattern adds a refreshing design element, seamlessly blending bold Baroque aesthetics with Mid-Century Modernism also can be perceived as brutalist piece. This versatile furniture piece can complement various interior styles, including modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian, or Art Deco. With a strong emphasis on functionality, this design style leans towards modernism while maintaining a cozy ambiance. The Scandinavian design style strives to promote sustainable living and harmony among individuals, offering a unique approach to enhance our way of life. The piece has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all drawers and hinges work properly. It is in fantastic original condition with only small, barely noticeable stain on the top ( for most people it is below the eyes sight anyway ) It. condition suggests it was in one home where people were aware of its value.
