Vintage teak sideboard Franzmeyer Möbel, Germany 1960

German teak sideboard by Franzmeyer Möbel. 1960's design with sliding doors and round recessed handles. Pure Mid Century and German rationalism in a functional piece of furniture that is lower than usual for these pieces. It is built symmetrically, offering a storage space in each half with a fixed shelf at mid-depth that allows storage of bottles or taller objects. It is finished with tapered beech legs with a subtle outward sloping angle. It is in a very good state of preservation having been fully restored and finished with two coats of oil-wax. It may have slight marks and repairs consistent with a piece of furniture of its age. Reference : 288475
