Vintage 3-seater sofa by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, Netherlands 1970s

A nice 3-seater sofa designed by Kho Liang Ie and manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1970. This iconic piece has a bent white metal base. The seat, back and cushions are newly upholstered in a beautiful light blue fabric which matches the frame really nicely. This use of shapes creates a nice harmonious design to this modern piece! The gently tilted seat adds really nicely to the seating comfort. A most recognizable piece of mid-century Dutch design and a comfortable and stylish addition to any interior! It remains in good, vintage condition with new upholstery and minor wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 285833
