Vintage G10 armchair and Troika ottoman by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy for Airborne, 1955

Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) and Paul Geoffroy designers- Airborne éditeurG10 armchair, the model designed in 1955 by Pierre Gurariche and Troïka ottoman, designed by Paul Geoffroy at the same period.The armchair features a tubular black-lacquered metal base, supporting four sloping legs linked at the front and rear by a brace and finished with black plastic glides, a seat, a backrest, both rectangular, and two trapezoidal foam armrests covered with an off-white Bisson Bruneel wool and cotton bouclette fabric. The armchair is extremely comfortable thanks to the Free-span spring and slat system that supports the seat and keeps it very thin. The ottoman has a rectangular seat and four slightly oblique legs in black lacquered metal, with small brass feet.fully restored and reupholstered according to the original model, new foam and fabric.Traces of publisher's label on the ottoman.Bibliography: L.
