About this vintage design furniture
An elegant pair of Italian armchairs by Paolo Buffa, one of the most prolific designers and architects from the 20th century, is dated to the 1950s. A frame made of cherry wood has a peculiarity in the armrest. The soft curvature of the wooden frame is enhanced with X-shaped slats that create a geometric play. The chairs are renovated and reupholstered in natural Italian L'Interno wool boucle fabric by Franco Fabbri. Also the foams inside and the coil springs in the seats have been restored. These lounge chairs, given its value and elegance, are the perfect complement to stylish and classy living rooms. It is a real example of Italian mid century modern and functional style.
Wood frames are stable and preserved in their original condition with some traces of use. The seats and backrest entirely renovated with new upholstery.
