About this vintage design furniture
Pair of Tall Blue Mid-Century Modern Table Lamps model 3340 by Einar Johansen for Soholm
These table lamps were originally vases that have been converted into spectacular and impressive table lamps. Einar Johansen designed these vases for Danish company Søholm Stentoj (Stentoj means stoneware in Danish) where they were also produced, probably in the 1960 on the beautiful island of Bornholm located in the Baltic sea. The bases are decorated with handmade graphic patterns and and have been glazed with deep blue shiny glazes. The tones of blue differ slightly from lamp to lamp. The design has the Model number 3340 and is stamped and signed by designer under the base. The lamps have been rewired and are in excellent condition. The lamps have plugs for European sockets, in case of use elsewhere, these could either be used with adapters or a local electrician can quickly and easily rewire the lamps for local use.
The lamp base measures 47 cm in height and 18 cm in diametre without the shades.
