About this vintage design furniture
The Turbo Lamp was designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1965. It is designed with a simple form but a complex structure. It combines the feeling of lightness and strength into a beautiful sculptural whole. The outer basket of the lamp consists of 12 identical panels that together form a flower. Weisdorf was inspired by the Japanese rice paper lamp - the particularly light feeling it gives.
This is a copy from Gubi, previously designed by Danish Lyfa.
