Quadrondo dining table from the 1980s by Erwin Nagel for Rosenthal Einrichtung. High-quality construction consisting of a round base and a table top in black stained ash veneer. By unfolding each quarter, the round table top can be converted into a squared table top with white surface. Made in Germany. About the designer
Erwin NAGEL
Erwin Nagel (1889-1948) was a German industrial designer who marked his era with his innovative work in the field of typewriters. He began his career in the 1910s as a designer for the Olympia company, where he worked on portable typewriters. It was here that he developed his three-dimensional design technique, which gave rise to many remarkable models.
