This charming creamy white umbrella stand was designed by Emma Gismondi Schweinberger for Artemide Milano Italy in the 1960s. It is made of strong plastic and is fully marked on the underside.
A rare and iconic piece of Italian 1960s pop plastic furniture! It is in very good original condition without damages, just some wear inside due to its age and use.

Emma GISMONDI SCHWEINBERGER
Gismondi Schweinberger, also known as Gino Gismondi, is an Italian lighting designer born in Verona on September 5, 1933. He began his career in lighting in the 1950s and founded his own company, Artemide, in 1959 with Sergio Mazza.
