About this vintage design furniture
Very rare off-white satin lacquered and blackened wood enfilade designed by Elizabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti for the opening of the Christian Lacroix boutique on rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré in 1987. Christian Lacroix chose this iconic duo to create the complete custom interior of the fashion house, with black, ecru, coral, bronze, wrought iron and Moucharabieh decorations and panels. This same Moucharabieh decoration adorns the two doors of this sideboard. It also has two large drawers on the side, four drawers in the middle, all with bronze and resin handles perfectly embodying the style of Christian Lacroix. Two small lights are installed behind the doors, to illuminate the Moucharabieh panels. This sideboard is clearly an iconic piece and emblematic of Garouste's commitment
