About this vintage design furniture
Vintage Danish XL Orrefors Sconce by Fagerlund for Lyfa, 1960s.
Large Mid-century Scandinavian Modern wall lamp designed by Swedish designer Carl Fagerlund for Lyfa, Denmark. Heavily structured Crystal glass shade manufactured by Orrefors Glassworks, Sweden.
This the largest version of this model wall lighting. Back in the day it was most commonly used by department stores or high end retail stores.
Wall base in solid brass.
Three E26/27 sockets. Can also be wired for plug-in connection.
Good original condition. No cracks. Patina consistent with age and use. Ready for use.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
