Set of 6 vintage rope cord and oakwood dining chairs, France 1950

A set of six rope cord and oak dining chairs attributed to Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet. Fabulous modernist design and great craftsmanship incorporating the use of organic materials, to produce this iconic French, coastal, rustic style seating. Signature woven backs and seats on medium oak frames with rounded front legs and tapered feet. All in good vintage condition, sound, solid and comfortable, with nice age-related patina. There are some minor losses and old reparations, entirely consistent with age and use. Reference : 278018
