Vintage art deco walnut pedestal table, 1940-1950

Large, vintage art deco style pedestal table / console / hall table from the 1940s - 1950s. The piece is made of walnut, resting on long elegant tripod legs in a bow/saber shape, and which have a hand carved pattern under the top. The piece has 2 round shelves:- The top, has beautiful bentwood edges and a maximum diameter of 47.5 cm, (see photos.) - The bottom shelf, has a maximum diameter of 13.5 cm. The table is in good original and vintage condition, with some old marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with the time, as well as a nice patina of time, on the general structure, shelves, edges and legs (see photos.) Some old woodworm marks as you would expect for a piece of this age (see photos), so it has been fully treated. The piece has been polished and waxed in respect of its original patina of time. It is solid and stable.
