About this vintage design furniture

Superb gilded bronze display table with foliage decorations and black velvet background from the Maison Baguès dating from the early 1950s. The chasing of the bronze on the legs is just superb, and typical of the French neoclassical style of the 50's and 60's, by Maison Baguès and Maison Jansen. The structure has been cleaned, and the bronze has a very nice patina. The display case has been restored, and the black velvet bottom replaced. A rare, timeless and very decorative piece, in a superb condition. Reference : 277258
