About this vintage design furniture
Folding table made in the 1960s in the tatra nabytok factory in czechoslovakia. The designer was františek jirak. The table has undergone a comprehensive renovation. Dimensions: height of 77cm, the top before unfolding is 120cm X 80cm. A rotating insert hidden under the main tabletop allows you to increase the size to 180cm X 80cm. Table legs and frame made of hard beech wood. Veneered tops. The veneer has an unusual grain, nature has drawn an abstract picture on it. The grains are emphasized by removing the old chemically cured varnish and protecting it with hard oil.

Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
