About this vintage design furniture
A Danish mid-century teak wall designed by Preben Sorensen, manufactured by the PS system, Randers in the 1960s. The manufacturer’s label preserved. It is a fully modular shelving system with interchangeable parts that can be arranged upon one’s needs. Two cabinets and 12 shelves provide just enough space for storage and exposing a lot of books and decorations.
This set includes:
- two cabinets with sliding doors: H: 35 / W 80 / D: 35 cm
- one display shelf 30 cm deep
- 12 shelves 20 cm deep
- 4 upright supports 194 cm (each combined with two pieces 97 cm long)
- brass hardware
Fantastic vintage condition with minimal wear and polished brass hardware, renewed with additional coats of Danish Oil.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
