About this vintage design furniture

Kho Liang Ie three-seater sofa model 671 designed for Artifort in 1968. Kho Liang Ie preferred to design seating furniture without armrests. He believed that the line of the seat would be aesthetically disturbed by armrests. Understated simplicity, a wooden frame finished with formica, on top of which the seat and backrest with loose padded cushions. This sofa dates from the early 1970s and is still covered with the original brown Ploeg fabric. The cushions have been re-filled with foam so that the sofa is nice and comfortable again. The condition is still good, normal traces of use; slight even discoloration, no holes and/or tears. Materiaal: The base is made of formica and plywood with on top loose padded cushions. Dimensions: h x w x d = 71 x 182 x 85 cm and the seat height is 42 cm. Marked: Artifort, Design Kho Liang Ie. Reference : 275025
